What will you learn?
Firstly, a student will learn a series of exercises that enable the student to refine the principles of Fujian White Crane. This is important, as it is more difficult to refine the principles within the Forms as they have within them techniques and movement that are more complex.
There are four Forms that comprise the Fujian White Crane system, these are:
- Pah Pu Lian
- Lohan
- Hua Pah Pu
- Chung Chien
In order to achieve skill in Fujian White Crane the following principles must be cultivated and refined:
- Swallowing
- Spitting
- Floating
- Sinking
- Springing
- Lifting
- Bursting
- Rebounding
As well as refining the principles and technique of White Crane, the Forms contain all the fighting applications and strategies that make up the system.
What are the benefits of training?
The practice of Fujian White Crane emphasises correct posture and body alignment, natural movement, relaxation and breath control. This promotes mobility, vitality and overall good health.
